The French Support Prop 8?

When I first read this, my reaction was to scratch my head and say, “What?”  The French and Europe as a whole generally treat us (as Americans) as backwards knuckle draggers.  To be on the same wavelength is not something I would expect from them.

However, this great article from Abby Earth outlines for us why France has decided that Same Sex Marriage is not best for children and as such has separated Civil Unions from Marriage.

Children represent the future of society. They "must not suffer from conditions imposed upon them by
adults". "The best interests of the child must prevail over adult freedoms... even including the lifestyle
choices of parents".

The complete article is here:

And for al my Conspiracy-Believing Friends, here is more proof in Wikipedia:

So, is Gay Marriage best for kids?  I don’t think so, and at least this time, the French and I agree.

Oui on Prop 8!

  1. Did you hear about the kids in Hayward California? Their school held a “Gay” day and didn’t tell parents about it before hand. Kindergartners were taught about gay relationships as equal with marriage, and the parents had no opportunity to “opt out” like the opposition is telling us they will. It’s happening already! Protect our kids. Vote YES on Proposition 8

I printed these up and passed them around my neighborhood. Parents need to know!
